Karo Duro's work explores the esoteric through symbolism and technology. She creates digital artwork, installations, and narrative pieces. Her artistic expression takes shape in multiple forms; from multimedia art pieces transferred onto canvas to her more experiential exhibitions where she integrates storytelling with immersive technologies.
Karo Duro was born in Nigeria, raised in Ireland, and is now based in the United States. She studied Computer Science, with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction at Georgia State University and Extended Reality at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Karo Duro's work has circulated around notable spheres both locally and globally including Google Arts and Culture, Fulton County Public Arts, The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Desiderio Gallery in Vienna.
Additionally she has also worked with notable brands such as JUST Water, Epic Games, Warner Brothers, and TikTok.
